The 2009 Audi Q5 is one such car which is a result of hard work by the safety and crash test engineers in Audi. Both the the IIHS and NHTSA certifies it as one of the safest cars in its category. The IIHS awards top marks for impressive results in the side, front and rear impact tests,

Results were the same for the 2009 Audi Q5, as it received the maximum 5 stars for both driver and passenger safety protection for both front and side impacts testing from the NHTSA.
