Compact car specialist, Daihatsu, is making the sunshine more affordable this spring and summer thanks to a £2,000 price cut for the Copen sportscar.
This brings prices down to £11,495 (on-the-road) for the standard cloth-trimmed model with a leather pack option adding £500.

However, all Copens are extremely well-equipped with, for example, air-conditioning, remote keyless central-locking, electric windows, radio/CD player, alloy wheels, front fog lamps, power steering, ABS with EBD and twin airbags as standard.

This is in addition to the Copen’s ‘party-piece’ of a Mercedes SLK-like electric folding metal roof providing convenience and security.

Already a cult, the Copen features cute looks and a 660 cc turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which gives a 106 mph top speed, 0-62 mph time of 11.7 seconds and 50.4 mpg on the Extra Urban Cycle.

The £2,000-off campaign runs until June 30 and is available at participating Daihatsu dealers.

The Copen comes with a three year unlimited mileage warranty with roadside assistance plus a six year anti-perforation warranty.
