Free Song Downloads on iTunes With Avis Rentals

Avis Rent A Car System, LLC today announced a new and exclusive program that rewards customers with free song downloads on iTunes with every rental booked on avis.com.

Through the long-term arrangement with iTunes, which begins March 1, customers can receive at least five free song downloads on iTunes every time they rent with Avis. The more rentals, the more free song downloads.

"With over one billion songs downloaded from the iTunes Music Store(R), I think consumers have shown how much they want this product. And at Avis, 'trying harder' means giving people what they want," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Avis.

Deaver also added, "Rewarding customers with free music is only the beginning; the cars have to be ready too." Avis has plans to introduce rental vehicles equipped with systems that will let customers play their own digital music through the car's audio system.

Customers will receive five free song downloads for every rental of one to four days. Rentals of at least five days will qualify for ten song downloads. To receive free music downloads on the iTunes Music Store, customers need to go to avis.com and enroll in the Avis Music Giveaway program. Rentals must be booked through avis.com. An e-mail containing music download codes for the iTunes Music Store will be automatically sent after customers complete each qualifying rental.
