New Brit supercar heads for London
Arash Cars will unveil a 550bhp concept car at the British motor show next month. The brainchild of maverick car maker Arash Farboud, whose show stands and the girls who grace them have become the stuff of legend, it’s called the AF10 and has a projected price of £170,000. The newcomer uses a steel and carbonfibre tub that has been designed around a 7.0-litre Corvette Z06 engine and six-speed Graziano transmission. The car will undergo extensive wind-tunnel testing with the aim of achieving a 200mph top speed.
The body is also carbonfibre, so expect a low kerbweight and 0-60mph in under four seconds. Double wishbone suspension is used on both axles.
The AF10 will be built at Arash Cars’ facility in Sawston, Cambridge.
