The Neuvo Cinquecento (New 500) is said to resemble Fiat's Trepiuno concept
Fiat is set to knock the BMW Mini for six with its new small car, the Neuvo Cinquecento (New 500).
Sources inside Fiat who have seen complete prototypes say the exterior of the Cinquecento closely resembles that of the Trepiuno concept (pictured here), which was first unveiled at the Geneva motor show in 2004.

However, the interior has been radically restyled by Frank Stephenson, the man responsible for the current Mini's interior décor.

TopGear sources described the new Cinq's interior as 'truly iconic'.

The New 500 will go sale towards the end of 2007 at prices that undercut the Mini.
