General Motors and Monroe Truck Equipment have launched a new Web site with information exclusive to the Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC TopKick pickups by Monroe.

It also includes product information, vocations, dealer information and editorials.

The site links back to the official Web sites of Monroe Truck Equipment and the Chevrolet and GMC medium-duty sites. Visit the site at: http://www.ultimate-pickup.com

Introduced during the 2005 model year, Monroe Truck Equipment worked with GM to develop the ultimate pickup truck. The Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC TopKick pickups by Monroe are ideal for towing large items such as fifth-wheel campers, horse trailers, boats and other recreational equipment. It also is perfect for those who appreciate the head-turning effect that this specially upfitted medium-duty work truck can offer.

The pickup offers class-leading attributes such as maneuverability and visibility. Its wider front track permits a 53-degree wheel cut, resulting in a turning diameter as tight as 47 feet (14.3m). In addition, its sloped-hood design and large windshield provide an excellent view of the road.

For further visibility, the trucks offer a rear-view camera mounted above the pickup bed. The camera is especially handy during challenging backups in tight spots, such as launching a boat. A side-view camera system is also available, improving blind-spot visibility.
