One of Peugeot’s most innovative small cars looks set to be very popular, and a very safe bet, with driving school proprietors and pupils alike.
The eye-catching 1007, with its unique electric front sliding doors and comprehensive standard equipment, is efficient, economical and easy-to-drive.

For pupils, the elevated driving position gives them a great view of the road ahead. And the commanding view, combined with speed-sensitive electric power steering and the 1007’s short overhangs, helps them quickly get to grips with tight manoeuvres and parking.

It’s also the safest small car on the road – having been awarded five stars by Euro NCAP, where it scored the highest score of any car tested.

As well as its safety credentials, the 1007 also offers benefits for the drivers’ well-being.

"The sliding doors not only make access extremely easy, but have the added advantage of making it easier for an instructor to check that his pupil is adopting the correct driving position. Incorrect alignment of the headrest and seat is all too common amongst drivers and can lead to serious injury or back strain over time, so getting it right is a lesson that should be learned at an early stage."
The 1007 is also available with satellite navigation as an option which will make finding a new pupil’s address much easier and enable new pupils to experience how the system works.

The Peugeot 1007, with He-Man dual controls, is available from only £42.85 per week, through Peugeot’s Special Driving School Finance Programme, full details of which are available on 0845 200 2540 or by visiting www.peugeot.co.uk
