Already available in SEAT’s commercial network, the 2006 range of the SEAT Córdoba boasts numerous improvements, particularly in the interior with its more stylish and more modern trim lines.

The exterior of the car also incorporates a number of new features that associate it more closely with the image portrayed by the latest models from SEAT, which highlights including double headlights across the range, new 15-inch wheels and the name “Córdoba" positioned at the centre of the tailgate.

The Córdoba retains the same engine range and a choice of 14 model variations. These result from combining its three trim lines - Reference, Stylance and Sport - with a total of six power units, including two 1.4 16V petrol engines with outputs of 75 hp and 100 hp, and four TDI units in the form of the 70 hp and 80 hp 1.4 engines, plus the two 1.9 litre units developing 100 and 130 hp respectively.

All of the engines are partnered by a five-speed manual gearbox, except for the 130 hp version of the 1.9 TDI which comes with a six-speed gear change. The 75 hp 1.4 16V model also offers the option of a four-speed automatic transmission.

Renewed, appealing interior

The most significant changes have been made in the interior of the Córdoba, which incorporates an array of detail modifications. Above all, the interior now features higher-grade materials which are softer and more pleasing to the touch.

The same improvement in quality and styling is mirrored in the colour scheme for the seat upholstery and panelling as well as in the new steering wheels and gear knobs. The result is an interior with a more sophisticated design, more comfortable and a superior finish level.
