At the same time as the Škoda Roomster was making its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show on 28th February in the afternoon, its new Internet presentation appeared on the Škoda Auto domestic and international web sites as well as in more language versions on Škoda importers’ web sites.

For the first 24 hours since the launch of the Internet presentation, the web site has been visited by 46,260 users. As compared with the average visits since the beginning of this year, it was a 40% increase.

Web visitors can rotate the Roomster car all the way round, have a look at it from all angles, open the doors (including the fifth door in the rear), and see how the VarioFlex rear seat adjustment system works. They can also “take a seat” in the virtual interior, switch on the outside lights, and see the functioning of these headlamps that can beam round the corner.

In addition to the Roomster car photo gallery and its details, the Internet presentation offers the option to download some wall-papers (newly also the 1600x1200 px size) or view a streamed video, and to save it in a computer.

The final version of the Internet presentation had been finished within 28 days. Ten members (programmers, graphic designers and writers) of a Škoda Auto Internet team were involved in the process.

By the date of the start of the Roomster model sales, the Internet presentation will have been augmented with price lists, depth specification of equipment, technical specification, etc. It will also be interconnected with the Škoda configurator application
