Specially adapted Note takes centre stage at Mobility Roadshow
Nissan will be premiering a specially adapted NOTE at the Mobility Roadshow from 8 -10 June 2006, at the event’s new venue, Kemble Airfield near Swindon. Although only on sale since 1 March the Nissan NOTE has already exceeded sales expectations. It will be joined by converted Nissan Micras, Primeras, Pathfinders and X-Trails at the UK’s largest outdoor mobility event.
Currently mobility vehicles make up 10% of the UK car market but this is expected to rise as the number of people with mobility problems increases. Presently 15%
(9.8 million) of the population are disabled and over 2.3 million people are blue badge holders.
The event showcases vehicles with the latest gizmos and gadgets, including lightweight, sports, power and manual wheelchairs; hand controls; hoists; car seats; commercial vehicles; trikes and scooters; walkers; rotating car seats; specialist wheels and tyres; suspension systems; ramps; seat clamps; wheelchair restraints; floor tracking; lifts and independent living aids.
