A rejuvenated product line-up, mixing many new models with some top selling favourites, has given Mitsubishi Motors UK an excellent first quarter sales result for 2006.

To continue this momentum into the rest of the year, the Japanese marque’s 142 dealers are offering customers a selection of springtime special offers. Aimed at tempting even more buyers to discover the many benefits of Mitsubishi ownership, these ‘limited-period only’ incentives provide a range of affordable finance offers and discounts of up to £2,500 on some of the brand’s most desirable vehicles.

The acclaimed Colt, now established as a key contender on the supermini scene, reaffirms its competitive position with the offer to purchase with nil deposit coupled with a low rate APR. For example, the popular Colt 3-door 1.1 CZ1 can be purchased with no deposit and monthly payments of an affordable £158 over 37 months at 6.9% APR. For those with a deposit to put down, then Mitsubishi’s popular 50:50 finance plan is also available, allowing the car to be driven away for a 50% payment with the second payment due 12 months later at 0% interest.

Also benefiting from strong finance offers, the stunning Grandis seven-seat MPV and Outlander crossover 4x4 are both available with three years 0% finance.

Not to be outdone, Mitsubishi’s tough and well-appointed Shogun offers even more value for money this spring with extra kit thrown in for free. The long wheel base Shogun Field, priced at £28,044, is already a great package with a host of standard equipment including heated leather seats, traction control and alloy wheels; however for three months the Field also gains satellite navigation kit and an engine power upgrade, extras worth a total of £3,128. As for the rest of the range, all Shoguns equipped with the 3.2 DI-D engine will also get the power upgrade fitted for free. The Rallitronic upgrade has proved a popular accessory on the 3.2 DI-D Shogun engine, boosting power from 158bhp to 182bhp and increasing torque to 332lbs ft.

Finally, Mitsubishi’s acclaimed Lancer Evolution VIII performance range continues to offer customers a reduction of £1,000 along with the additional saving of 3-years/27,000 miles free servicing worth £1,149.

Of course, it’s not all about price. Customers can be assured of complete peace of mind thanks to Mitsubishi’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty package plus three year pan-European breakdown cover - included in the cost of every new vehicle bought from an authorised UK dealer.
