Mohammed Saleh & Reza Yousuf Behbehani, GMC dealer in Kuwait, is using the Kuwait International Automobile Exhibition 2007 as the platform to reveal, for the first time in the country, the all-new Terrain, GMC’s first entry in the compact SUV segment. Visitors will also witness an impressive line-up of 6 further GMC vehicles, including the Envoy, Acadia, Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali and Sierra, on the MS&RY Behbehani stand, which will occupy about 1,150 sqm of exhibition space, of which 750 sqm will be dedicated to GMC vehicles.

“GMC has long been a trusted brand in the Middle East and enjoys a tremendous reputation in Kuwait. The all-new line up will exceed the expectations of customers who are drawn to the professional grade precision, power and capabilities that the GMC brand has to offer. This line-up is now expanding to cover all segments in the fast-growing SUV market”, said Adel Behbehani, Managing Director, Mohammad Saleh & Reza Yousuf Behbehani Co.

It has been more than 100 years since the keystone was set in the foundation of one of General Motors’s great truck brands, GMC. GMC’s line-up is reaching new heights both vertically and horizontally with vehicles for the younger generation in 2008. At this year’s Kuwait International Automobile Exhibition, GMC will introduce to the Kuwaiti market its first compact SUV, the stylish Terrain.

A whole new wave of thinking has gone into creating the exciting new Terrain, which joins the SUV range with state-of-the-art engineering and high levels of quality, safety and comfort as its core DNA. It is the smallest member of the GMC family, but the professional grade philosophy is at the core of the newest model to make its entry in the region. This technologically sophisticated compact SUV, which will enter the Middle East market this year, is proficient for everyday use and equally capable of being used as a leisure vehicle.

“The 2008 GMC range now offers more choice, flair and performance to suit every budget and need,” said Thierry Sabbagh, marketing manager for GMC in the Middle East. “The GMC Terrain is both dynamic and comfortable. This is thanks to its monocoque construction, which has provided the designers with a broader canvas to sculpt the well defined exterior style of this new compact SUV.”

GMC Terrain

Following the success of GMC's first crossover, the Acadia, now comes GMC’s first compact SUV, the stylish Terrain. The Terrain made its Middle East debut at the 9th Middle East Motor Show in Dubai where it received a great response from car enthusiasts, GMC loyalists and, moreover, from new audiences.

The Terrain is a technologically sophisticated compact SUV, proficient for everyday use and equally capable as a leisure vehicle. While it is the smallest member of the GMC family, it is professional grade in all respects, distinguished by a bold contrast between robustness and elegance.

GMC Acadia

GMC launched the luxury Acadia CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) last year as a natural extension of the brand, bringing an athletic design, spacious interior, smooth, responsive driving experience and comprehensive safety package to the fastest-growing vehicle segment in the Middle East. Its combination of smooth, responsive driving traits and SUV versatility embody GMC’s professional grade philosophy.

Mohammed Saleh & Reza Yousuf Behbehani became the first GMC dealer outside the United States to introduce the all-new GMC Acadia luxury crossover SUV at a glittering launch event held in Kuwait last April.

GMC Envoy

Over the years since GMC introduced the Envoy into the Middle East market, it has enjoyed tremendous success and has been the brand’s most popular model, with continuous refinement maintaining its fresh exterior appearance and overall appeal. GMC’s long-time contender in the mid-size SUV segment, the Envoy gets three new exterior colours as well as head curtain side impact air bags (ASF) as standard for the 2008 model year.

GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali

The 2008 Yukon and Yukon Denali feature distinctive styling, spacious and refined interiors, exceptional driving characteristics and segment-leading safety features. New for 2008 is the adoption of a 40/20/40-split front bench seat that provides convenient storage space in the centre section. Two new exterior colours - Stealth Gray Metallic and Sonoma Red Metallic - further expand the available colour palette.

GMC Yukon XL and Yukon XL Denali

The 2008 Yukon XL and Yukon XL Denali are based on GM’s acclaimed full-size SUV platform and feature distinctive styling, spacious and refined interiors, exceptional driving characteristics and segment-leading safety features. The 2008 Yukon XL gets a 40/20/40-split front bench seat that provides convenient storage space in the centre section while there are also two new exterior colors: Stealth Gray Metallic and Sonoma Red Metallic.

GMC Sierra

The all-new GMC Sierra has been comprehensively redesigned to incorporate new exterior and interior designs, powertrain, chassis and safety systems. In a league of its own, the Sierra leads the segment in performance, efficiency, capability, refinement and safety. This new truck now offers more power and better fuel efficiency than the vehicle it replaces
