Skoda Fabia Estate
It’s all go for Škoda at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show. The Czech manufacturer will be showcasing an all-new model, a design study and a concept car on its Hall 3 stand. Breaking cover for the first time will be the new Škoda Fabia Estate, with its impressive 1,460-litre loading area (seats folded). Over 630,000 examples of the previous generation model were sold worldwide, and with the choice of six engines and a typically affordable price tag, the new model will doubtless be similarly popular.
Alongside the load-lugger will be the Fabia Greenline. The design study – intended to highlight Škoda’s ability to produce economical, environmentally-friendly vehicles – boasts around 69mpg combined and 110g/km of CO2. Showgoers will also have the chance to Czech out the Fabia Estate Scout concept car. Similar in styling to both the Roomster and Octavia Scout, the latest concept is two-wheel drive and features stylish body mouldings.
