Another Special Edition Mini, this time to celebrate 50th year since F1 championship title!
Rowan Atkinson would blush if he read this. We're left with a feeling that Mini's made more of these special editions to the regular cars. Could this get better? Yes it can.
To mark 50 years since the triumphs of the John Cooper in the Formula 1 World Championships back in 1959 and 1960, a special edition car has been planned. The ‘World Championship 50’ is a limited-run model painted in the same color as the racing car, British Racing Green.

The latest car is among the three special edition Minis unveiled at the Mini United 2009 event in Silverstone over the weekend. The differences are purely external, and the mechanicals have not been altered. The 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder from the regular JCW model with 208hp and 260Nm rests under the hood.

Mini World Championship 50 features -

Connaught Green paint scheme to give it common grounds with the F1 car
white racing stripes continues the racing theme
leather trim with black and red piping
Bluetooth connectivity
Harman Kardon stereo system
17in alloy wheels
bi-xenon headlights
carbon-fiber trim – both outside and inside the car.
