Audi boosts demand for new employees for 2007
AUDI AG will employ 350 employees with university qualifications next year. “We need highly qualified young professionals to strengthen the core competences of the company and thus enhance our innovative power. Interesting tasks and individual possibilities for development are elementary when it comes to remaining an attractive employer in the long-term,” Dr Werner Widuckel, Board Member for Human Resources, expresses his conviction.
Audi follows the principle of Vorsprung durch Technik in its selection of staff as well. More than half of the new employees will be deployed in the area of Technical Development. There is a particularly high demand for engineers with qualifications in the areas of electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering and vehicle technology. However, engineers with qualifications in other specialist areas also stand a good chance.

Experts are above all needed in the development teams for Clean Diesel engines and hybrid drive systems – AUDI AG intends to be well-prepared for the challenges of the future. For this reason, the company is actively involved in research into engines which are both efficient and powerful at the same time.
