Autocar enters the 2008 Silverstone Britcar 24hrs
Autocar magazine has entered an Aston Martin Vantage N24 in the Silverstone Britcar 24hr race, which runs from Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 September. Autocar’s editor-at-large Steve Sutcliffe and road testers Matt Prior and Jamie Corstorphine will form the driver line-up, along with Chris Porritt of Aston Martin.
Autocar is the world’s oldest car magazine and is currently published in 16 countries around the world. Autocar Publishing Manager Mathew Joynson said, “Autocar’s road test team is one of the most respected and authoritative in the industry. Our entry into this event represents a great challenge for the drivers, as well as supporting Autocar staff and we look forward to communicating the experience to Autocar audiences all over the world. We must also thank our sponsors, without whom we wouldn’t be on the grid”.
