For the past two days the sun-drenched Canary Wharf estate has provided the perfect setting for the launch of the 2008 Canary Wharf London Motorexpo.
Other highlights include the display of a 47-foot – 15 Ton Sunseeker Portofino Motor Yacht on the Limousine Parking area of One Canada Square (Britain’s Tallest Tower) - part of the luxury brands display as the 2008 Motorexpo’s Official Lifestyle partner
This years event is also helping to raise funds for London’s first Children’s hospice, Richard House. Who are presenting the next stage of the ‘Snaps for Charity’ appeal.
Graeme Carver, Motorexpo Managing Director said; “2008 represents a significant year in the development of the Motorexpo and I am delighted by the way in which our Canary Wharf event has today been received. The combination of display of the very latest vehicles from many of the world’s leading motor manufacturers, our free-to-visit format and good weather has lead to the busiest opening days in our history and we look forward to welcoming even more visitors to the Motorexpo over the next five days.”
This year’s Canary Wharf event marks the 13th annual Motorexpo and is now set to be followed by the international expansion of the motorexpo format. In September this year the show will also take place in New York where the event runs from 15th- 19th September 2008 at the World Financial Center in Lower Manhattan business district.
The 2008 Canary Wharf London Motorexpo is on now from 9am – 6pm Wednesday to Saturday and 11am – 5pm Sunday.
