Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este 2007

The most traditional of all beauty contests for classic automobiles and contemporary concept cars - the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este - takes place on 21 and 22 April next year in Cernobbio on Lake Como. In addition to numerous exceptional classics, a range of forward-looking concept cars and prototypes will contribute to this colourful gathering against the picturesque backdrop of the aristocratic Grand Hotel Villa d'Este. This is the image reproduced on the official event poster for 2007, designed by Italian artist Enzo Naso. Taking his inspiration from last year's winning cars, the Ferrari 410 Super America Coupé of 1959 and the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider concept car, Naso has designed a poster that juxtaposes black-and-white and colour drawings to highlight the appeal of the Concorso under its motto "Classic meets modern".
