HAMANN's newest creation - Mercedes Benz G55 AMG typhoon
German car tuners Hamann cannot stop tuning cars. In their latest creation, they have turned their attention to one of the oldest Mercedes Benzs stil alive. Named Typhoon, the Mercedes Benz G55 AMG is their latest project .
Hamann has gone with a biturbo setup to boost performance figures to a biblical 600 hp and 782 Nm of torque. The Mercedes Benz G55 AMG typhoon is fitted with the Brabus G V12 S Biturbo kit that includes new electronics, larger belt pulley, and a re-engineered transmission with oil cooler.

Naturally, all these changes reflect on the performance figures on the road. 0-100 km/h time of 5.1 seconds and a top speed of 261 km/h (162 mph) makes this an SUV on steroids.

Apart from the madness under the bonnet, Hamann have taken the time to customize the interiors and add some nice touches on the outside as well.

Hamann added carbon fiber mirrors, door handles, vents in the fenders, and a larger front grille. A new front spoiler with LED daytime running lights is also offered as an option along with a rear bumper and diffuser.

On the outside, a six pipe exhaust system, 24-inch rims, and a roof mounted spoiler are the other modifications.

Inside the Mercedes Benz G55 AMG typhoon, a custom Hamann steering wheel, 24 carbon fiber pieces, aluminum pedals, stainless steel door plates, and velor upholstery complete the list of items.
