Hyundai Sonata YF to get 4 cylinder DI engine
Hyundai's next generation Sonata has been discussed here before. The car is expected to make its debut in a few months from now and there is a major development which we have come to know now.
The 2.4-liter Direct Injection petrol engine will be added to the Sonata YF's lineup. The revised 4-cylinder DI engine gets increased power along with lower fuel consumption figures. The DI four cylinder is a brand new engine which will debut in the refreshed 2010 Santa Fe this fall. Subsequently, the new Sonata will receive it next year.

Power from the DI four cylinder is boosted from 176 to 200 hp, and is likely to get around 5-10 percent better fuel efficient. The Sonata YF will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show this November followed by a htybrid model as well.
