Jaguar XKR awarded 2007 Best Dream Machine by Motorweek
Jaguar Cars was honored today at the Chicago International Auto Show as MotorWeek awarded the 2007 Jaguar XKR the Drivers’ Choice Award for ‘Best Dream Machine’. “We are delighted the XKR has been chosen by MotorWeek for such a prestigious award. We take great pride in designing and tuning our vehicles to meet the desires and need of our customers,” said Marti Eulberg, executive vice president of Marketing and Sales. “This further underlines that the XKR delivers a truly rewarding and exhilarating driving experience.”
“Leading MotorWeek’s trio of desirable cars is the Jaguar XKR,” said John H. Davis, executive producer, host and creator, MotorWeek. “This 420-horsepower supercharged feline combines the sports car prowess that originally made Jaguar such an icon, with an uncompromising attention to finesse and detail that is a hallmark of the brand’s posh sedans.”
Performance is taken to a higher level with the all-new 2007 Jaguar XKR. Based on the critically acclaimed 2007 Jaguar XK, the XKR boasts a 420-horsepower supercharged V8 engine that propels it from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. Also featuring a number of distinct styling cues to distinguish it from the naturally-aspirated XK, the Jaguar XKR is the epitome of a contemporary sports car, combining beauty with power and style with dynamism.
