The Association of Publishing Agencies (APA) has named Land Rover OneLife the ‘Customer Magazine of the Year’ – regarded as the biggest award in the industry – at the Customer Publishing Awards 2006, held at The Brewery, London. The prestigious award was hotly contested by other shortlisted titles such as British Airways Business Life, Army Magazine and Waitrose Food Illustrated. At the same awards OneLife also secured the ‘Most Effective Automotive Title’ beating off competition from Freedom (Chrysler Jeep), Mazda Magazine, Eureka (Kia Motors), Rapport (Peugeot) and If (Toyota).
Andy Griffiths, marketing director for Land Rover UK added, “We are thrilled with this outstanding result. To not only win the Most Effective Automotive title but also to take the big one as Customer Magazine of the Year is a great result and reflects the experience and passion of everyone involved.”
Four full days of judging saw the 90 strong panel of judges whittle down 222 entries to a shortlist of 119. From this, 17 category winners were picked before OneLife was awarded the overall title ‘Customer Magazine of the Year’.
OneLife has been established since 1999 and is distributed to over 418,000 customers in 67 countries worldwide.
