Top-end luxury limousine brand Maybach is the latest car manufacturer to sign up to MPH ‘07, the prestige and performance motor show, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. Maybach’s client list reads like a “who’s who” of the rich and famous, celebrity owners include Madonna, Samuel L. Jackson and Jay-Z. Maybach creates vehicles that are literally fit for royalty with King Juan Carlos of Spain being amongst those who have pondered how to specify their car from the two million possible combinations.

Maybach prides itself on being able to cater to its client’s wishes, no matter how outlandish they may at first seem. Requests have included a boot mounted Vodka bar for a Russian client and a compass that points to Mecca for a more religious customer. Even amongst the standard options the cars lavish interior can be further decorated with diamonds and gold plating from the company’s jeweller.

In keeping with MPH’s prestige and performance theme, one of the company’s superbly appointed 57 models will be displayed in the show’s VIP area. The move is designed to give guests a rare opportunity to examine this £265,000 car at their leisure. Explaining the move

Corporate hospitality at MPH ‘07 includes exclusive access to a VIP Enclosure with pre-show drinks and dinner, private box for the theatre show and VIP paddock tour.

MPH ‘07 will run from 1-4 November at London’s Earls Court followed by 8-11 November at Birmingham’s NEC. As well as displays by luxury and sporting car companies, MPH’s centrepiece is a £2 million live motoring theatre.
