New Fabia wins its first “Car of the Year” Award
The new Škoda Fabia has become the Car of the Year 2007 in Serbia. The title is the first important award for the new vehicle made by the Mladá Boleslav-based manufacturer.
Launched in the Czech Republic and other key European markets, the second-generation Fabia has won the prestigious title in a traditional survey held on the occasion of the Belgrade Motor Show. Reviewed by journalists, technical university teachers and motor sport drivers, the Škoda Fabia got 70% of the votes, beating all of its main competitors from Europe and Asia.

The Car of the Year award is already the third great achievement for the Škoda brand in Serbia - the Škoda Superb and the Škoda Octavia (2nd generation) won the award in the previous years. AutoČačak, the Škoda Auto importer in Serbia, has sold nearly 15,000 Škoda vehicles in Serbia over the last six years, of which over three thousand in each of the last two years.
