'No Limit' attitude by Edo edges MC12 closer to Enzo
Ferrari Enzo based Maserati MC12 has undergone a minor surgery in Edo Competition's clinic, and the results don't come as a surprise. The MC12's earlier brushes with Edo resulted in increased power output, fancy color schemes, higher efficiency brakes.
A leap of 70 hp for the engine translates into a top speed of 370 kmph and 0 to 60 mph now comes up in just 3.5 secs, a big improvement over the stock version (in Supercar terms). A weight reduction of 100 kg was possible thanks to the carbon fiber magic. A remote-controlled butterfly valve and stainless steel muffler gives it similarities to Bond's car, and the sports suspension in partnership with the adjustable rear wing won't make handling the extra digested power through the new sports clutch a nightmare. Indirectly, the tuning has resulted in performance figures similar to the Ferrari Enzo.
