The final silhouette in the Peugeot 207 range will be launched in the UK in July 2007 the Peugeot 207 SW. It is a true Peugeot SW with full length Cielo glass panoramic roof and an innovative rear seat folding mechanism which provides a perfectly flat loading area when extra luggage space is required.
It will be available at launch with four engine options, two HDi diesels, 1.6 litre
90 bhp and 1.6 litre 110 bhp and two petrol engines developed as part of the co-operation with the BMW Group. The first petrol engine option is an all new 1.4 litre VTi 95 bhp engine and the second the current 1.6 litre VTi 120 bhp engine found in the 207 CC and 207 hatchback range. Both these two engines benefit from the latest engine technology, such as fully variable valve timing for both the exhaust and inlet valves and variable valve lift on the inlet valves. The use of this technology ensures low fuel consumption and emissions, without restricting overall engine performance.
All engines will be fitted with a manual five speed gearbox with ratios selected to match the individual engine characteristics.
The 207 SW will be available in two trim levels, S and Sport.
Prices and specification will be announced nearer the launch of the Peugeot 207 SW in July.
