"Rosso Alfa", the good life according to Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo Automobiles will be participating as both an exhibitor and as the Official Car in the first edition of Lux Wine, to be held in Monte Carlo from April 27 to 29, hosting approximately 150 exhibitors hand-picked by sommelier associations and a select group of oenologists. For the duration of the event, the Espace Ravel – the largest hall in the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco – will be transformed into a 4000 square metre wine cellar dedicated to an exclusive selection of winemakers.
The second stand set up at the Grimaldi Forum was designed in collaboration with Spirito diVino – an exclusive publication by the Swan Group – and with Cantine Scrimaglio, a wine producer from Nizza di Monferrato. The theme is a lounge where guests can leaf through the pages of a magazine dedicated to the world of wine and the art of good living, while tasting wines produced by Scrimaglio exclusively for Alfa Romeo: a red and a white contained in bottles created specially for the Italian marque by glassmaker Bormioli. Alfa Romeo, Spirito diVino and Scrimaglio join forces at this prestigious Monaco event as three champions of the style and excellence of Italy.
“Alfa Romeo is very enthusiastic about taking part in the first edition of Lux Wine”, says Antonio Baravalle, Chief executive of Alfa Romeo Automobiles, “in keeping with its traditional image of style, elegance and sportiness. These values are built into our DNA, but are also some of life’s greatest pleasures. We developed a range of bottles of wine bearing the Alfa Romeo name together with the renowned wine producer from Monferrato, Pier Giorgio Scrimaglio. This ‘brand extension’ initiative, together with other projects linking Alfa with the worlds of art and sailing, is an expression of Alfa Romeo’s commitment to be associated with premium events and activities representing the essence of the Italian lifestyle.”
