Scoop: Toyota and Subaru's AWD sports car snapped!
Back in April this year, Japanese automakers Toyota and Subaru announced that they will collaborate and bring out an affordable sports car. Reports suggested Subaru would supply its engine for the car while Toyota would be handed over the task of styling it and making it look sports car-like.
The spy shooters claim to have photographed the exact same car which was silently undergoing testing somewhere in a secret location in the U.K.
A four cylinder engine in naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions would find its place under the hood which would release 220 and 300 bhp respectively. Sources also state that the car would be sold a Toyota in Japan and as a Subaru elsewhere. However they re-badged it, it will be very interesting to see the best of both worlds-technology from Toyota and engineering from Subaru coming together in this car.
