Tata Nano arrives in the U.S in two years
The rife speculation of whether the Nano would indeed make it to the United States has continued to march forward in full steam since the car's launch earlier this year. To put an end to such a speculation, chairman of the Tata group, Mr. Ratan Tata reinstated what he said before- The Nano will arrive in the United States in two years time.
The U.S-spec Nano would have a sprinkling of airbags and safety devices such as ABS, ESP and re-engineered crumple zones for better safety.

The Nano will cease to exist as merely a 4-door low cost car. A 3-door Nano with turbocharged diesel engines is being planned. A Nano convertible and wagon models cannot be ruled out either. European entry and the U.S entry could coincide if both the versions are ready in two years time.
