The Suzuki Swift's new powerful Japanese cousin

Suzuki Swift is one of our most favorite cars. A proper hot hatch, it has won over millions of hearts all over the world. It has been the subject of many in the modification busineess and through the years we have seen many packages for the stylish and pratical hatchback. But none come close to the Monster NX 16.

The 87 horses of the Suzuki Swift was enough for the customers in emerging Asian markets, but with the Japanese it is a different story. So Suzuki brought in the Swift sport with 126 hp. Even this doesn’t seem to have pleased the folks at Monster-sport Japan . Monster-sport is a tuning company from Japan, which has laid its hands on the Suzuki Swift Sport and increased its power from 126hp to a whooping 145hp.

I can imagine the readers drooling over this, the prospect of a regular Swift with almost twice the power, I mean how wicked could that be?. I have already started day dreaming about experiencing this high-powered Swift. The car modification circle will go bonkers. This pimped out swift costs roughly US $22,000-$28,000 in Japan. Along with the power boost, you get a body kit, alloy wheels and new headlamps.
