Top Models Travel to Catwalk in Tigra TwinTop
Opel turned Barcelona’s streets into catwalks: 30 European top models traveled to trendy Spanish brand Mango’s largest fashion show of the year in a blazing-red fleet of Tigra TwinTop cars. They presented the new autumn collection to 450 guests from the international fashion world and many VIPs such as Dominik García-Lorido at the city’s “Museum of contemporary art”. In the partnership between Opel’s Tigra TwinTop and the cool fashion label from Barcelona both brands are keen to explore further advertising and promotion projects together across Europe for the two-seat cabrio and the current Mango collection.
Opel and Mango are also planning joint contests, as well as prominently placing models wearing Mango fashions in Tigra TwinTop advertisements. Other country-specific opportunities in Europe are also being looked into. “Every street is a catwalk, and that goes for people and their clothes as well as for cars,” says Olivier Danan, Director Marketing Communications for Opel, explaining the concept behind the cooperation. “Today more than ever before, cars are also considered chic accessories that have to fit an overall stylish look.”
