Volvo FL wins Fleet Vehicle of the Year Award
The Volvo FL has won the 2009 ‘Fleet Vehicle of the Year’ award in the Fleet Awards Polska ‘Trucks’ category. The award was jointly organised by the Fleet Management Institute in Poland and the trade magazine ‘Flota’.
Fleet Awards Polska aims at recognising the best fleet vehicles on the market, focusing on the opinions of fleet managers responsible for vehicle purchases in their companies. All the nominated vehicles were available for testing and votes were submitted online over a three-month period. The nominated trucks were the Iveco Eurocargo, Mercedes Benz Atego and the Volvo FL, which took the first prize.

Volvo Trucks has now won the ‘Fleet Vehicle of the Year’ award three consecutive times. The Volvo FL is the winner for the second consecutive year and in 2007 the trophy was awarded to the Volvo FH.

“We are very pleased that our Volvo FL series received the ‘Fleet Vehicle of the Year’ award. It proves that the Volvo Trucks offer is very strong in the segment of trucks for lighter applications as well, such as local and regional distribution,” said Pontus Stenberg, General Manager of Volvo Truck Center Poland.
