AudiThis year, AUDI AG has won two prestigious “red dot awards: communication design” in the category of dialog marketing. Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen paid tribute yesterday to Audi’s creative agency gingco.net for the outstanding design of the Audi mailings. The awards were made for the mailing campaigns for the presales phase of the Audi A5 and Audi S5, and for the market launch of the Audi R8. In its A5 mailing, Audi said goodbye to its customary catalog format, surprising readers with a high-quality, semi-transparent photo folder.

AudiOnly pure-bred sports cars are crowned “SportsCar” of the year by a panel of experts in the Autobild SportsCars monthly magazine. Following its victory in the March 2007 issue, the Audi R8 has now been awarded top place overall, and has thus secured the title of “SportsCar 2007”, one of the German car industry’s most sought-after awards.

AudiAudi Hungaria continues its success story with the Audi A3 Cabriolet: production of the new model was officially started today by the Hungarian Prime Minister, Ferenc Gyurcsány, and Audi's Chairman of the Board of Management, Rupert Stadler, at AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. in Gyõr. The production launch was also the world premiere for the new Audi A3 Cabriolet and was attended by a host of international guests.

AudiThe well-known Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the USA has now also awarded the sporty, compact Audi A3 its highest rating of “Top Safety Pick”. This makes Audi the only German manufacturer to have three award-winning models in its ranks: the Audi A4 and A6 have already been honoured with this top safety rating in the past.

Powered by the world’s cleanest diesel engine, and combining the sun worshipping potential of a classic cabriolet with the mountain-scaling agility of a quattro-equipped ‘off-roader’, the Cross Cabriolet quattro could form the basis of a future SUV model from Audi.

AudiSix first places is the impressive result achieved by Audi in the Internet Auto Award. In this, the biggest Internet poll in the automotive industry, the Audi A3, A6 and A8 models all came top in their classes. The Audi Q7, the Audi TT and the Audi R8 also received the most votes and thus received the “Carolina” prize. This was the sixth time that the AutoScout24 Internet portal has asked its users about their favourite cars. For the first time, voting was carried out in several languages and countries, including France, Spain and the Benelux states. Votes were cast in a total of nine vehicle categories. Some 350,000 users sent nominations, and six Audi models were awarded a Carolina prize.
