AudiAudi opens up new horizons. The A4 is a sporty car with superb presence on the road; it takes Audi forward into a new dimension on the midsize car market. The engines that power the saloon, both TDI and spark-ignition, in all cases with direct fuel injection, combine effortless power with high efficiency. The dynamic running gear and the use of many technologies taken direct from the large-car category are evidence of the brand’s lead in technical know-how. The new Audi is a new way to drive. It will reach the market at the end of November 2007, at a basic list price of about 26,000 Euros in Germany.

AudiTwo more leading edge Audi FSI and TDI engines join the all new A5 coupé range this week with additional refinements that boost output while at the same time maximising efficiency. The 2.7-litre TDI and 3.2-litre FSI units power the A5 2.7 TDI priced from £31,640 OTR, and the A5 3.2 FSI at £33,230 OTR. Both will reach their first UK customers in late October.

The Audi A8 in the luxury class and the Audi A6 in the upper mid-size class received most votes from Germany’s senior executives in their respective categories. The Audi A8 topped the survey for the third time in a row. With its outstanding comfort, superior quality and handling characteristics it convincingly beat off the competition. But just being good is not good enough for Audi. The luxury saloon has just been substantially updated and now offers further enhanced running smoothness and ride comfort, for example.

AudiLondoners may breathe slightly easier in the knowledge that a specially developed A3 1.9 TDI joins the Audi range this month with extensive revisions that ensure it will fall under the proposed 120g/km CO2 limit permitting exemption from the congestion charge. Available in three-door and five-door Sportback body styles, the new A3 1.9 TDI is priced from £16,660 OTR.

AudiAUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. has set another engine production record during the first half of 2007: the company has already exceeded the one million mark in the first six months of the year. 1,013,697 (994,777)* engines were produced in Gyõr by the end of June, 1.9% more than in the same period last year. There was also a significant increase in the production of the Audi TT and TT Roadster sports cars during the first half of the year. 32,089 (5,194) vehicles left the factory floor.

AudiAudi and the iPhone – high technology in a perfect design. Even at the time of its launch, the first mobile phone from Apple can be used in all Audi models. The big seller in the U.S. (more than 270,000 phones sold in the first 30 hours) is eagerly awaited in this country too. According to a survey, every third Apple fan would definitely like to buy the phone and, what is more, “right away”.
