The Bugatti Veyron is one of the most exclusive cars on the planet, with a price tag of $1,400,000 it hardly takes an Einstein to realise why. Every Veyron is built to order with a custom package as specified by the consumer and with this in mind we could easily argue the fact there will be 300 different special edition Veyrons on the street by the time the current generation production series ends.

There are very few car companies left on the planet that will automatically get the attention of everyone in the room. Lamborghini still holds a mythic charm for some, as does Maserati and even Rolls Royce or Bentley. While the company name has come and gone and is now under the umbrella of Volkswagen, the Bugatti mystique has never lagged. Bugatti cabrio on the way

Bugatti cabrio on the way
It must be hard being a mega-rich international playboy (or girl): you quite fancy a £750,000 Bugatti Veyron, but there's no convertible version. And what's the point in having the world's fastest production car if no one can see you driving it? Thank heavens, then, for engineering firm Webasto, which VW has commissioned to make a removable glass Targa roof for the 252mph Veyron. Problem is that you won't be able to stow the roof in the car, so there will be a temporary fabric cover that you can take with you. Oh yes, and because of the change in the Veyron's aerodynamics, the Targa will be restricted to a mere 220mph. Prices have yet to be announced, but we suspect if you have to ask, you can't afford it.
