On Saturday 12th July the Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR) – the UK based organisation for owners and enthusiasts of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution – successfully created a new World Record for the largest ever parade of ‘Evos’. Mitsubishi has announced the addition of a new Special Edition to its super-mini range with the Colt 1.1 Attivo (meaning ‘energetic’ and ‘lively’ in Italian). Just like the name suggests, the 1.1 litre engine puts out a healthy 74bhp at 6,000 rpm with 100 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm and 51.4 mpg (combined mode) making this an efficient and nippy little city car.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) today announced that it would provide 10 i MiEV electric vehicles for official use at the G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit. The electric vehicles will be used as transport for visiting world leaders and members of the media. Additionally, the vehicles will comprise one part of an on-site display and test drive.
