In the first full redesign of the iconic Nissan Z since its re-introduction in 2003, the new 370Z now sports a shorter wheelbase, greater use of lightweight body materials, new engine with more horsepower and a new 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, as well as the world’s first synchronised down/up shift rev control system for the manual transmission.

Nissan’s innovative Pivo2 concept, as well as the Cube compact car will be part of an upcoming European design exhibition entitled “Japan Car – Designs for the Crowded Globe”. The Pivo2 and the Cube will be on display at Cité des Sciences in Paris from Nov. 1 to 9 before travelling to the Science Museum in London from Nov. 29 to Apr. 19, 2009.

This is the first time a company's proprietary information service - previously available only with a car purchase - has been made available in off-the-shelf navigation devices. SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. will include the CARWINGS system in their latest portable navigation device beginning next month.
