NewsDacia, the Romanian low-cost car manufacturer controlled by Renualt, is apparently working on small car. The Dacia small car will be pitted against the Toyota iQ, Smart Fortwo with its diminutive size and 2-seater cabin. The Dacia "Rondo" as some put it (the name has already been taken by Kia) will look like the Sandero from some angles. The Sandero's DNA would be present in this small car which could flood European markets if it proves to have all the specialties offered by its competition, only at a cheaper price.

The Australian division of General Motors, Holden, is working on it and should be done with it in a couple of years time. The Cruze hatchback would then be exported to markets like the U.K, where it would be sold as a Vauxhall.

FiatThe 2010 Fiat Uno is based on the platform of the next generation Fiat Panda. Its launch date is still unknown, but sources indicate it will be launched late this year or the next. The looks of the new 2010 Fiat Uno will resemble the current Panda, but due the low cost technology and engineering, it will be priced below the Panda as an entry level model for European markets.
