MitsubishiMitsubishi Motors Corporation will unveil, for the first time at an international motor show, the Lancer Sportback at the Le Mondial de l'Automobile 2008 (Paris Motor Show 2008) being held in Halls 1-8 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from October 2 (October 4 for the general public) through October 19. The Lancer Sportback will have its European launch this fall with a phased introduction into the various countries in the region.

Generous donors from the ARK (Absolute Return for Kids) charity raised an incredible £25 million for children at a gala reception in the Royal Naval College, Greenwich on Thursday (5 June) with an auction which included the iconic Fiat.

Tata"We like this car," commented Ferrari CEO, Jean Todt on seeing the Tata Nano. He wasn't the only foreigner to like the Indian car when it was unveiled in the Geneva motor show earlier this year. All the ooh's and aah's followed after the launch as the Nano received thumbs ups from super bosses in the Auto Industry.

The maximum five stars were awarded for the passenger protection test, with a four-star rating for child protection and three stars for pedestrian protection. The collective result is one of the very highest in the supermini class.
