Is there any kind of usability between the Bluetooth SAP unit and a normal Bluetooth phone?

I have a MB R350. I use Motorola RAZR V3 cell phone. The official dealer says that they can not assure if my cell will work with the Mercedes bluetooth module due to the software version that I have. Does anybody knows if any Motorola RAZR V3 works with that module? Any experiences? Thanks

I am very interested in the Module for use in my 2006 E350.The question is: will my LG VX 8700 cell phone be compatible with the module?
If it is, I will rush to Mercedes to purchase one.
Please advise asap.
