BMW is a Car.

this read like an advertisement.

German cars are the best.

did anyone actually read the whole article?

Awful, unobjective blurb. Give me Jeremy Clarkson any day. I'm sure it's a nice car, but please stop going on about how it gives more power, smoothness, etc than a "conventional" car without sacrificing ANY fuel economy, etc...
Posted by righton (2 years 7 months ago)
Hell no. I only skipped to the bottom because I hoped there'd be some actual information.

f***in' big article, but I'm SOLD :)

"Acknowledged as the most sophisticated and responsive of all-wheel drive systems, BMW xDrive..."
One word for you: Quattro. However, it's nice to see another direct injected turbo on the market. That torque range is beautiful.

$4 for gas?? we don't give a damn about increased horsepower. we want better fuel economy!!
Posted by anon (2 years 7 months ago)
Of course it reads like a Press Release. At the bottome it clearly says, "Source: BMW Group".

People who are buying a BMW are not worried about fuel costs, and if they are they shouldn't be buying a BMW.

No kidding,if you can pay 45k for a car I don't think you should be worried about gas prices.

I think the car looks great, I'll be test driving one as soon as they are in stock. (owner of a 330CI)

There isn't a 335i model being offered in either Germany or the States. Barring any future M models, the most powerful model available will be the naturally aspirated 3.0L inline 6 with 250hp.

"Source: BMW Group" -- I wonder why it reads like an advertisement.

You whinning dorks shut your pie holes. This car is going to rock hard.

"did anyone actually read the whole article?"
LoL not really, hey what do they mean be high precision fuel injection what's that all about ?

Posted by DBOi (2 years 7 months ago)
EWwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, all the new BMW's look the same, they should fire the new designer!
Posted by JC (2 years 7 months ago)
Yes at165dB I agree, 'xdrive' ... hah.. BMWs *new* AWD system (think mercedez 4 matic-slip-whoa-slip), Quattro is 25 years in the making and still outperforming!

Porsche eats BMW's lunch all day...get a used 996 or a late 90's 993 C4. You'll have better style, better handling, a similar price, and much manlier power. The new 3-series is a car for your wives! I'll chime in when the new M3 comes back. M3's are cool and so are those who drive them.

Despite of many bad comments I'll surely buy one.

This car will be great, i'm sure to upgrade to the new model, but will wait for the supposed "not to be released" convertible. A TT BMW with allwheel drive.... oh how long i have waited for this day.
"Omeed" who likes porsche better, stop commenting like a tool.... wait til your older, get a job, save.....then rip the posters off your wall and get both....
P.S my wife drives the 997, its only slightly bigger inside than her handbag.

DBOi, Chris Bangle has been working for BMW since 1992. He isn't the "new designer."

I drive an '03 330Ci, and I don't see how I can stop myself from trading it in when the 335i's hit showrooms. They are gorgeous!

A twin-turbocharged 3 series? I think not. The hallmark of BMW power delivery has always been smooth, high-reving naturally aspirated mills, not bolt-on forced induction. Reading about BMW's spanking AMG variants is going to become much less rewarding.

this car kicks my f&*%in ass
Posted by matt (2 years 6 months ago)
I don't know why people are leaving bad comments about the new 3 series. It's yet again another BMW revolution. If anyone can build a better small luxury sport coupe they haven't done it yet. I love BMW for its simple, aggressive sophistication. And a twin turbo 300bhs 6 will persuade me to get rid of my 02 330ci happily. Can September get here any faster…

this car is gorgeous. I am getting one!
Posted by michael d (2 years 6 months ago)
All the words aside, just review the photos, imagine other colors and recall the hp spec and xi option. It maybe time for me to consider a trade of my '03 5 series and I would not consider doing that with the present 5 series lines now.
Posted by dragga (2 years 6 months ago)
does anyone know the expected price of the 328i and the 335i
Posted by michael w (2 years 6 months ago)
it depends on where you live :>
Posted by sally (2 years 5 months ago)
show me the price
Posted by the car (2 years 5 months ago)
not a pretty car
Posted by dbiz (2 years 5 months ago)
I don't care about the gas mileage, price, or anything else. All I know is that I must have it. Twin turbo and all wheel drive in a BMW coupe. Does anybody need a kidney or a liver?
