The (insanely rich) owner/president of this company (www.williamsglobal.com) near my company - has all of if not most of the cars shown on that site (and many more not shown). The guy must be like our own Canadian version of Jay Leno (except for the famous comedian/night-show-host part).
Every day you drive by Williams, there's always a different luxury car to look at.

The two cheapest ones I think are the best. If you want a very fast car you can use it in public roads you take the Lamborghini. For a fast and luxurious car there is nothing better than an Aston Martin. All the rest are useless cars and waste of money. The only purpose to buy them is just to show that you have money. The target group is complex reach people.

these cars suck ass...i own a 1969 chevelle i bought for about $2000... paid about $3000 for paint and new interior $1000 for rims and put about $9000 in the engine and transmission 454 with 425 horsepower...more then enough to scare anyone into slowing down...id never trade my car for any of these aluminum pieces of $hit!!!

Yes, most of these cars car made with a cheap aluminum. Take example I was pumping gas into a Buick 2004 SUV and leaned against it and the metal flexed. If you were to hit a deer in this Buick or any of these cars above at 50 mph it would cause some major damage. bot it you hit a deer a the same speed in a car made in the 70's you might only have a small ding in the bumper. They just don't make cars any more like they did back then.

The cheap aluminum is light, it's what allows the cars to go so fast, so it's a trade off. You can either have speed and risk easier damage, or a heavier body and a slower car. The fact that they used cheap metal (in terms of being strong) doesn't mean they did it just to save some $$.

You can't even utilize the speed of these cars and only reflects what money you have to waist and didn't spend on starving children. After living in Germany for many years and driving at speeds of 170 mph at times in a Totoya Supra, you don't need to go much faster and this was on the autobahn. You are passing everything at that point, why pay for much more.

OKAY. Let me clear something up. First. ALUMINUM ALLOY IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN STEEL. SECOND. An aluminum body and frame is lighter AND stronger. THIRD. SAFETY. Tinsel strength of aluminum vs.steel is different. Steel doesn't give on IMPACT like aluminum will. Don't think that steel is better because it doesn't give in when hit. People die more often in a steel car.

I don't know if anyone here has heard but... there is this car called the Hennessey Venom 1000 TT (Dodge Viper by Hennessey Motorsports) that has a top speed of about three mi/hr faster than the Veyron. It's only about $225k. Don't believe it? Look it up.

To this day, there is no car on the planet, that is street legal, that can compare to the performance in acceleration or top speed of the Bugatti Veyron or Saleen S7 Twin Turbo.

You can say the Lingenfelter Vettes, the Hennessey Vipers, or some of you riceheads with your beloved useless Skylines. Fact of the matter is.

This is about FACTORY BUILT cars, not tuner modified, or manufacturer/tuners.

No excuses on the Saleen S7, which is not a Mustang, making it a non-tuner car. Saleen owns a manufacturer's license for that reason, and also had a huge hand in building the Ford GT for Ford in Michigan.

Bugatti might be losing rougly $4,000,000 per Veyron they sell, but their idea was to build a car that will be an icon, and set a benchmark.

Bugatti Veyron can reach 252 mph.
Saleen S7 Twin Turbo has a 0-60 of 2.6 seconds and a top speed of 249 mph.

The Bugatti is a hyperfast luxury car, while the Saleen is a race bred and race proven fire breathing monster with unmatched handling and acceleration.

Being that the S7 Twin Turbo has only 750hp with 6 psi of boost from both turbos combined. Add a new tune, up the boost, and you got 1200hp reliably, and the fastest car on earth.

Guess what anyone can own one of these. But my BMW M3 is a better chick magnet than any car on this site, not to mention the F1 LM(Mcleron) is the original super car at 1.5 MIllION bucks. I have had the opportunity to see alot of these cars personally and there are reasons some cars aren't on the list. The Mclaren isn't here cause they stopped production in the 90's so its no longer a production car. The Saleen S7 isn't a production car it's a made to order car. The Maserati Mc12 is made from a car development kit sold by Ferrari to various companies such as Maserati and Noble, it was originally intended for race car development, It is mostly Enzo components. As far as prices these prices are kinda off but they are market prices and not MSRP prices. MSRP for a Bugatti is 1,192,000 USD but are selling all the way up to 2.0 million USD. The same way when McLaren ruled they sold for up to 1.5 mil and MSRP is 970,000 its all about supply and demand. If you dont want to wait as long as others you pay. Jay Leno just paid a little over 1.8 mil for his Bugatti. Lambos before the Murcielago pretty much are undrivable on city streets they tend to burn up when not moving, and forget about burn outs, you'll do 2 or 3 and be in the shop payin $3 to $5 grand for a new clutch they aren't made for it, but now Audi owns them and they are alot better vehicles and more driveable. so if you want to do burn outs buy a viper thats all they are good for. Only Chrysler could take a 600 hp Lambo motor and make it a 500 hp motor and put it in a sled that doesn't handle and make money. Anyway enough rambling I want a Bugatti.

Those of you who want one of these cars to get girls are just plain dumb asses. A girl who falls only for you car is called a Bitch,Hooker, whaterver you call it. It has a nice body like a porsche built over a VW beetle, but nothing inside, it doesn't worth your time.
I don't bother with these "supercars", the prices are totally innacurate, and as u pointed out the S7 and a lot of others are missing. An old real Countach sells for more then these anyday.
I'm most happy with my home chip tuned Skoda Octavia 1.8T. 350hp, 340nm, all the way through the rpm range, and would top out at about 260-270 if the 5th gear would be longer. The tuneing cost about 50USD (yes, Fifty dollars), and it beets a Porsche Boxter or Cayman whenever you need it, and its still a comfy family car in wich you can pack up for 2 weeks of holiday, not just your golf bag.
I see a Murci every night here, it has a beutifull sound but I beat it till 150km/h on the streets between two street lights. So who needs this shit? Buy a house, and a proper living instead.
If you really need a beutifull car, buy and old porche 911, nothing beats the look of its ass line, and every girl will fall for the words "Porsche". If she doesn't, she doesn't worth the effort anyway...

Special order cars aren't started until you pay for it. Lambos and Ferraris are regular production vehicles that are made regardless of sales. We keep a full stock of Lambos and quite a few Ferraris in stock at all times there is no wait on mass produced vehicles like those. they are easy to get and find. and to LDV Countachs are a dime a dozen and have no value whatsoever. Look on the internet you can find some with fixable problems for as low as 3 grand. They are junk. Where i work is the oldest Lambo dealer in the U.S. and I have seen several Anniversary Edition Countachs with the red, white and blue paint jobs in mint condition go for well under $30k USD.

I'v driven a jaguar xkr. And it sux. it sux bigtime. Everything on the inside is made of very very cheap plastic, the suspesion is so soft it wouldn't even pass for an SUV, allthough it has 400hp 400nm on paper it does the same speed in the same lenght as my Skoda (tested it between a few lamps, ran the same 180kph with both). Its a joke really. And there isn't even space for a duffle bag... The point is, that all those cars above are the same like that, just the plaque on the hood costs more.

Of course, there are more reasons to have a car like the above ones. The one is that its really an investment that pays back well, if you have the time. The other is the feeling. I'v had a new carrera 4 for a day. Nothing can beet the feel of haveing that much Hp, technology (and money) under your asst.
Its just useless in the big city.... The trip form A to B takes the same amount of time in an Enzo as much as in a Civic. Just a lot more money.
Offcourse, if you have nothing better to spend you money on (wich rich people do) you can get one of the above. Its considered compulsury to have one if your moveing in those "circles".
Getting a car like Kings Ass (Königsegg) is another kind o fun. Those can NOT be compared to the others. Those are Racecars for the Track. Not for your streets. You use em to have fun on your local racetrack every weekend, but useing em on 5th ave is just plain pointless (use your limo instead, at least you can have a cold drink while sitting in the jam).
So having a debate on this list is absolutely pointless, it's like comapering a Nascar to a Civic. U use the first to have fun (Race), and use the second to get form A to B (to live).

None the less I'll will buy a porsche in two years when I will have the legal chance to import a fine one as an "oldtimer", or a pony car (ford mustang), those had souls...

But seriously folks. How about some of the great American muscle cars ?! The early 'Stangs ? Camaros and Firebirds ? Road Runner and Charger Daytona ? The Corvettes ? And let's not forget the monster of monsters - the AC Cobra 427 !!!

Vector was cool. It is another Ferrari Development kit car hence the M12 Badge like the Maserati MC12 and the Noble M12. Sweet lookin car. You can order all those cars here in the U.S. but they come with no motor or trans. But still nice car. I also like Shelby series 1 and Ultima GTR. Street cars but not production. Its sad, I sell alot of these cars but can't afford any of them. I actually own a 05 Saturn and a 66 Chevy Impala ss conv. and a 66 Chevy II.

We can import a car for as low as $2500 to bring it to the US as long as its a model that has already been tested. and in italy the corvette sells for more than a ferrari., and here the opposite. I' m glad you brought up the 220 I forgot about that one. good call. I like them except the wheels(rims). There are like 8 in the US but most of them are registerd for show only (2500 miles/yr) we sold 2 to the same guy, a doctor in Longwood, a purple and a silver. Bad news is they don't produce them now and now they sell for about $150,000 USD. A loss for anybody that owns them. Most cars like that go up in price.

Well, people I've stolen quite a few rides in my time. And going over 150 miles per hour is some scary sh*t. Most of you people if you could afford one of these cars would not use it to its full potential unless you are on a private track. That said, let me give some advice....and get yourselves a little Honda instead. Most recently I'd have to say that a real performer has been a car that is not on this list. That would be the Saleen S7. Has very good cornering but damn....that accelaration is awesome.

I'm not sure why I am taking the time to type on this site, but I just want to express how awfull all of these prices are. Sure, all of the cars here would be a blast to drive and to have the time of your life in, but they are all impractical. To buy one of the cheapest cars on this list ($255,000) , you could get a very fast WRX STi, a Volvo S60R, a Porsche Cayman S, a Jaguar XK, and a Range Rover Sport all together, or any similar combination. With these you can either go fast or very fast, go off road, haul around the kids, race at the track or on the street, haul a boat, etc etc. What can you do with all of the ones on the list?? Just get from point A to point B fast while spending hundreds of thousands to do it. Why? Put the rest of your money to use. Buy a Z06 and invest $10,000 on a few parts to make it faster if you want. In my opinion it is completely perfect the way it is already for 10% of the price of most of the cars on the list. And with that 10 grand, it will be faster than almost all of them. Life is too short to try to look cool in an overpriced materialistic item. There are more important things....

I got to drive a client's Porsche Carrera GT on South Beach about a month ago. What's really sick is he has TWO of them. The hydrolic clutch combined with a very touchy accelerator make it hard to drive right until you get used to it. The carbon fiber brake rotors help stop that thing QUICK. A really cool car, but I would probably go with a BWM 645 and pocket the other $400K.

Let me take it one step further, you could have a toyota land destroyer for family moving, also one new Z06 for going to work, and one Z06 for towing your other Z06 to the track. If top gear is a decent metric of how quickly one can get around a track in a particular car you are about 7 seconds off the enzo in a new Z06. Not bad for less than a tenth of the price. However, that is not what this list is about, so I will take an enzo.

The dino test showed 1680 BHP on the wheels. and its not just a drug race car he also do mountine road racing with it and come 1st twice this and last year. On the drag race he showed 8.23 sec (402 meter run).The brakes are the best i have ever seen. car have exelent stability, grip, performance and brakes. On the test run my kidneys and stomach we about to explode from the g force you get in the car.
And when you see the car you get creazy from its looks and sound.
