Mitsubishi Motors Lineup at 2007 NAIAS

I am the owner of a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant GF-EA1A Serial Number EA1A-0205550. This vehicle will run perfectly for a period, then it will not start. If you leave it for a day, or so, it will start again and run for a day or more, sometimes weeks, and then it would not start again.I have had this car to various mechanic shops, but none has been able to solve the problem. The fuel pump has been changed, but the same thing happens. I should be grateful for any advice you can give.
