Modern car brake discs warp, judder and wear out faster

I suspect that a fair amount of addition brake bad wear and rotor damage can be attributed to the icreased gearth of today's new cars. I think that closer research would reveal that the size of brake discs has not grown at the same rate as the weight of new vehicles.

Something that all your articles seamed to miss was the fact that stopping distance has decreased in modern cars. So all that energy has to go some where therefore more heat is created. So maybe it isn't poor quality control. It's the simple fact that the forward momentum of the car is being converted into heat faster.
