The 911 convertible is not rare ... and you can still buy a new boxster.

Seriously, worst article ever, you clearly are a moron when it comes to anything automotive ...

New porsche boxsters are still being sold today so that is totally wrong! You can now also get the hard top version known as the Cayman and Cayman S versions. But both versions of these new cars are being sold today.

Michael Dell gave us the personal computer? Riiight. Dell may have given you YOUR personal computer.

I think IBM or Apple is far more equipped to make that claim.

Poor Mr Jobs. Some bugger's nicked his number plates.

The 1999 911 Cabriolet (aka convertible) is so rare that AutoTrader only has several hundred for sale used now.

Seriously, the only thing this article says loud and clear is the author knows next to nothing about cars.

For those of you brimming with curiosity, Steve Jobs ride (for which details are mysteriously not given) is an AMG version of a Mercedes-Benz SL. Judging from the wheel size and Kompressor badge it's probably the SL55, which lower on the totem pole than the top dog SL65.

In California when you buy a new car you do not get a temp plate. You get a paper that is taped to the inside of the windshield. THE CAR IS NEW.

The TSX shown is not an '06 (fog lights were standard in 06), and the '06 TSX does not have traffic information as an option.

I think the author pulled a lot of this out of his/her ass.

uh, "technically speaking" he shouldn't be fine not displaying plates, "technically speaking" he should get a citation. California law requires front and back plates to be attached to the vehicle.

Jobs has had so many issues with people stealing his plates that IIRC he has special dispensation from the California DMV to not have them displayed on his car.

Of course, if he would just park in the underground lodge at 1 Infinite Loop, maybe he wouldn't have this issue. When he returned to Apple in the late 90's, he tended to park diagonally across handicapped spaces, until someone put a "Park Different" (in the mode of Apple's then-"Think Different" ad campaign) note on his car...
